Four Corners Custom Framing Making Art Look Great for 28 Years

Four Corners Custom Framing opened its doors in 1996 in Burbank, establishing itself as a family-owned business dedicated to providing exceptional picture framing services to the community. The dream of starting their own business has flourished over the past 28 years, thanks to the unwavering support of Burbank's residents. Catalina will greet you when you visit the store.

The shop frames artwork on-site and boasts an extensive selection of mouldings and mat boards, along with various glass types to accommodate diverse artistic needs. Their typical turnaround time is between three to five business days, and Catalina and her family takes immense pride in their craftsmanship, ensuring that each piece is treated with the utmost care.

Having served customers in Magnolia Park for over 28 years, Four Corners Custom Framing is a full-service custom frame shop that offers over 500 moulding and mat options, providing same-day to five-day service. Their commitment lies in delivering the highest quality and the most distinctive framing choices.

When discussing her passion for framing, Catalina expresses that her love for creating wall art for clients drives her enthusiasm. Four Corners is dedicated to crafting pieces that will stand the test of time, focusing on every detail.

In terms of framing advice, Catalina emphasizes that each piece is unique and should be presented in a way that highlights the art itself. The selected materials should enhance, rather than overshadow, the artwork. She also recommends hanging pieces with two hooks for improved balance and stability and advises using a spray cloth to clean glass instead of spraying directly onto it.

As for assisting customers with their framing needs, Catalina encourages engagement from the moment clients enter the shop. She offers suggestions, showcases selections, and inquiries about the intended location for the artwork and the surrounding pieces. They provide recommendations for glass and mats that complement the art and, if the selected options exceed the budget, they present alternative solutions to make framing more affordable. The owner is committed to educating clients on how to preserve their art so that it can be enjoyed for years to come.

Additionally, Catalina’s daughter, Yessenia (pictured above), is a talented graphic artist who created the artwork for an iconic poster that also inspired the Magnolia Park Merchants Association's new cover of their map. The poster is available for purchase at Four Corners, and visitors are encouraged to pick up a map of the neighborhood.

Throughout the years of operating in Magnolia Park, Catalina says “I’ve had the privilege of meeting many wonderful people who continue to provide support our little store.” She expresses deep gratitude for the friendships and loyalty of their customers.

Supporting local businesses like this great family-run shop is what makes Magnolia Park truly special.
